Short Biography

After graduating in Geology at RSM, Imperial College, London I lived and worked as a
geologist exploring for base and precious metals in Africa, Middle East (Iran, P.D.R. Yemen, Emirates) South America (Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina) North America (Canada, USA) and Europe(Spain, Scotland)

Managing teams in these areas we were fortunate to have made significant discoveries of copper, gold and silver.

I am now semi-retired and living in the Yorkshire Dales, just off the Dalesway. I am a non-caving member of the Craven Pothole Club (1961) and Yorkshire Ramblers Club (YRC) (2016)
Formerly married with 5 children, I returned to settle back the UK in 2013 and in 2014 backpacked from Cape Cornwall to Cape Wrath.
