Terry has lived and worked in the UK, Spain, France, Mexico, Oman and Australia, and has travelled widely elsewhere. He enjoys working collaborations, and in principle is keen to go anywhere, try anything and write about it. This has included walking, trekking, climbing, winter mountaineering, winter sports, cycling, fishing, eating, drinking and a diverse range of other travel activities. As a Spanish speaker, he has a particular interest in Latin America, but his nationally published work has covered travel on five continents.
Travel to culturally, environmentally and/or scenically interesting destinations that offer adventures and activities including trekking & mountaineering, camping, fishing and cycling. Has also published ‘personality’ interviews (examples include George Band, Sir Chris Bonington, Leo Houlding and Joe Simpson), and articles on wildlife/habitat and special events.
