Did you know we have a series of forum boards for our members to discuss things on? But these are only available to members, so you will need to be logged in to see them (see end of page for how to do this if needed).

We do recommend that members subscribe to all or at least some of the boards. They are a valuable resource and place to ask for advice, raise important issues or even just chat with other members. Once subscribed you will get an email notification whenever a member posts a new topic (roughly half a dozen times a month). Unsubscribing is also easy.

Getting notifications of new topics or replies (Subscribing to forums)

You can subscribe to topics or boards that you would like to get notifications of new messages on. To subscribe to a board, click the button under the topic header “Subscribe for new topics”:

This will give you notifications by email of new topics on the board, but it won’t tell you of every reply to each topic (you might end up with a lot of emails otherwise!).

To get notifications of new replies to any topic, you will need to subscribe to that topic. Go to the topic, and click the “subscribe for new replies” button at the top of the page under the topic heading.

NB If you reply to a topic, you do then automatically get notifications of any replies to that topic (but not other topics). Again you can unsubscribe easily if you wish.

Too many emails? (Unsubscribe)

If you end up with more emails than you want, then its easy to unsubscribe from any you no longer wish to get notifications from. There is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every forum notification, or you can go to the topic or board that you wish to unsubscribe from and click the same button shown above (only it’ll now say Unsubscribe to any boards/topics you are subscribed to, rather than Subscribe!).
