OWPG Awards for Excellence 2020
The OWPG Awards for Excellence were announced on Nov 7 2020. Normally this would have been part of our Big Weekend – the annual members gathering which moves location each year to one of the UK’s many scenic places.
2020 of course had to be rather different. Instead of catching up in person at the Malham Field Studies centre, in the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales, we had to make do with meeting up online over Zoom. That didn’t stop our extremely thorough and well-organised Awards Administrator, Jacquetta Megarry, making an excellent presentation of the awards, nor members getting together for a short chat afterwards. It was indeed a triumph of technology over lockdown restrictions!
