Tanya is an outdoor and adventure writer and photographer. Her recently published book From High Heels to High Hills combines knowledge and experience of hiking in the Lake District with a love of style and is aimed at encouraging more people to enjoy walking. She writes for a range of magazines and organisations including Lakeland Walker, The Great Outdoors, Walks Britain, Cumbria Tourism, Visit Sussex, Home Away UK, Outdoor Women, the National Trust and the Youth Hostel Association as well as testing outdoor gear for Blacks Outdoors and Cotswold Outdoors. She is a Brand Ambassador for Bramwell International. In addition to writing, Tanya manages the conservation programme Fix the Fells, which repairs and maintains the upland paths of the Lake District.
Tanya writes for a range of organisations and businesses on the outdoors, tourism and various experiences and adventures from walks to rock-climbing and from helicopter flights to restaurant reviews. She has extensive experience of the Lake District fells and walking in Sussex. Tanya also manages the Fix the Fells conservation programme on behalf of the National Trust and Lake District National Park. She has done a range of book talks and events in support of her recently launched book.
