Steve Davison is a photographer and writer based in south-west England specialising in hill walking and European and UK travel, with interests in geology, nature and native woodlands.

Steve Davison is an award-winning photographer and writer specialising in hill walking and European and UK travel, with interests in geology, nature and native woodlands. A keen hill walker for many years and holder of a Mountain Leader (summer) Certificate; he has also worked as a part-time outdoor education instructor (many years ago).
 
Professional Activities
Travel and outdoor writer and photographer for guidebooks and magazines. Steve has written and illustrated a range of books including a number of guidebooks for Cicerone. He also wrote a monthly walk feature for Berkshire & Buckinghamshire Life for 8 years and Hampshire Life for 7 years. Occasional contributor to other publications which have previously included: Destination France, Camping, Independent, Independent on Sunday, Trail, TGO and local newspapers.
